Vale decided to apply our ComAp Bi-Fuel system in 2 of its locomotives to certify one of its rail routes Green, given the reduction of greenhouse gases resulting from the Bi-Fuel conversion. These trains cross the Amazonian states of Pará and Maranhao, in Brazil.
Servintel International and ComAp worked on the conversion of these low-rotation, variable-speed motors with a high level of safety, notably improving gas emissions and reducing operating costs without affecting their normal operation.
