Dual Fuel System in Sirio Libanés Hospital

The Hospital Sírio Libanés is an internationally renowned healthcare center. It serves over 120,000 patients annually in its facilities. With a built-up area of approximately 100,000 square meters in Bela Vista, São Paulo, it offers more than 40 medical specialties and 449 beds, 47 of which are allocated to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Hospital Sírio Libanés considers power supply as a critical element, whether in an emergency power system in the event of a blackout or during peak hours (when it’s necessary to activate the generators and parallel them for disconnecting from the public grid).

The three generators are CAT3516C, the largest version of the 3516 model, each with a power output of 2,250 kW.

Servintel’s Bi-Fuel solution provides reliability and safety, saves operational costs, increases fuel autonomy, etc. The gas substitution rate achieved in this application is up to 74%.
