The reason for this requirement was based on the fact that they should have the autonomy to have the total potential available at any of the 3 operating points, to use large loads.
The 3 plants consist of generators between 900kW and 2.5Mw, with different configurations: Plant A: 4 gensets with a total potential of 3.3Mw, Plant B: 4 gensets with a total potential of 4.1Mw, and Plant C : 2 gensets with a total potential of 4.1Mw.
To achieve this ambitious objective, an optical fiber was laid with a double network for communication between controllers, using approximately 28 km of optical fiber.
Since its commissioning, the application has been operational, so we are pleased to have successfully solved this challenge.
