Control and Monitoring System on the Comte Paschoal Vessel

Control and Monitoring System on the Comte Paschoal Vessel
The Comte Paschoal is a bulk carrier vessel that plays a crucial role in the maritime transport industry, specifically in salt transportation in Northeast Brazil. This vessel has an impressive capacity to carry up to 2,751 tons of cargo, making it an essential component of logistic operations in the region.

The Comte Paschoal’s power generation plant is equipped with two Cummins brand generators, each offering a capacity of 99 kW. These generators not only provide the necessary energy for the normal operation of the vessel but also support all loading and unloading operations, lighting, and navigation systems. The generators are synchronized and managed by InteliGen Marine modules, an advanced technology designed specifically for marine applications. These modules not only facilitate the automatic paralleling of the generators, optimizing energy performance but also ensure the stability and reliability of the onboard electrical supply. The ability to perform automatic paralleling is especially critical during extended operations and when facing adverse maritime conditions, providing a smooth and uninterrupted energy transition.

The implementation of InteliGen Marine modules on the Comte Paschoal has significantly transformed the way energy operations are handled on the vessel. This has not only improved fuel consumption efficiency but also minimized the risks of system failures, which is crucial for the safety of the crew and cargo.
