Control and Monitoring System for Power Generation at River Terminal

Located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina, is the Dársena Norte river transport terminal. Spacious and modern, it covers 17,390 square meters in a strategic location in Buenos Aires. It includes a large dining area, with a cafeteria and buffet, offering a wide variety of dining options. Within this terminal, there is a tourism and information agency, a bank, and a car rental agency. This port receives daily frequencies from the lines coming from Colonia, Montevideo, and Piriápolis, and it is a strategic point for connection between Argentina and Uruguay, with millions of passengers passing through annually.

To optimize energy management, the terminal has a 13.2 kV electrical supply system, and a 400 kW renewable energy system (solar panels) has been added, significantly reducing the use of conventional energy.

As a backup system, in case of emergencies or peak demand, a 400 kW installed generator is added. Servintel has been responsible for providing the solution for the energy system and distribution throughout the terminal, coordinating and executing each project. Additionally, the development and implementation of all automation systems required by the client have been carried out, including fuel plant monitoring systems, security systems for loading LNG onto the Francisco ship, fire detection, intelligent lighting, among others.
