This year we proudly celebrate our 45th anniversary. From our beginnings to our current position as leaders in technological solutions, our journey has been driven by innovation, commitment, and constant evolution. In this blog, we want to share with you the history of our company and thank you for being a fundamental part of our success.
Servintel began its operations in the late 70s, providing technical services for repairing electrical and electronic equipment, especially televisions and VCRs. In our first laboratory, we developed engineering modifications and adaptations to meet the specific needs of our clients. This focus on personalization and technical excellence became the cornerstone of our company. In fact, the name SERVINTEL is an acronym for SERvicio INtegral de TELevisión (Comprehensive Television Service), reflecting our original commitment to high-quality service.
As our services diversified, the name SERVINTEL became a registered trademark representing a wide range of technological solutions. This evolution allowed us to expand our capabilities and enter new markets. A significant milestone in our history occurred in the mid-80s when a major Argentine fishing company requested us to install truck engines in the generators of their ships. We designed and assembled the panels to control the electrical system and alarms, marking our entry into the Marine market and establishing us as leaders in this sector.
In addition to our ventures in the Marine market, Servintel has been a pioneer in the development of parallel group systems, a key technology for efficiency and reliability in power generation. Our work in this area has significantly contributed to the knowledge and design of products applied to this technology, setting industry standards. Another notable achievement in our trajectory was the collaboration with the first fast ferry in Argentina, brought from Australia. Our team of technical specialists handled this complex project and, to this day, we continue to provide similar services to high-complexity vessels.

Over the years, we have developed solutions and adopted new technologies as the industry evolved from 2.0 to the current Industry 4.0, incorporating hybrid microgrid technologies aimed at minimizing environmental impact in power generation.
