General information

OIL QUALITY MONITOR FOR HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS (CLASS 1 DIVISION 2)

The Trident QM3150 and QW3150 from Poseidon Systems are advanced oil quality monitors designed specifically for hazardous locations (Class 1 Division 2). These monitors utilize real-time, in-line sensing technology to continuously monitor the health state of lubricating fluids, providing valuable insights to optimize maintenance practices and reduce reliance on offline analysis methods.

FEATURES

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Provides continuous insight into oil health, enabling condition-based maintenance practices.
  • Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) Technology: Measures a fluid’s impedance spectrum to track its health, assessing additive package health, monitoring breakdown, and identifying contaminants.
  • Multi-Frequency Analysis: Offers detailed information about the oil’s condition, enhancing asset health state awareness.
  • Compatibility: CAN-J1939 and RS485-Modbus RTU compatible for seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Small Form Factor: Easy to install in various lubrication systems, ensuring minimal disruption during implementation.
  • Support for All Oil Types: Suitable for use with a wide range of lubricants, providing versatility across different applications.
  • Integrated Water Contamination Sensor (QW3150 only): Provides direct measurement of dissolved water content in the lubricant, enhancing awareness of water contamination levels.

APPLICATIONS

  • Optimization of oil drain and sampling intervals
  • Improvement of asset health state awareness
  • Identification of contamination events
  • Detection of oil changes and top-up events
  • Verification of proper lubrication system maintenance
  • Suitable for hazardous locations (Class 1 Division 2)
